Sindh Human Rights Commission in mandate of implementation of laws on Human Rights Promotion & Protection in Sindh collaborate with partners i.e UNFPA Pakistan Validation Session on GBV Prevention & Response in Sindh Province.
Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson SHRC, along with his team, attended the UNFPA Validation Session on the Provincial Strategic Framework for GBV Prevention & Response in Sindh.
Superintendent Complaints SHRC, Mr. Sarfraz Ahmed, Mr.Adnan stressed the need for a strong complaint mechanism and better coordination between Government & civil society for effective GBV case redressal.
Ms. Fareeda Tahir, P.R.O. SHRC highlighted the importance of centralized data collection and shared that the Treaty Implementation Cell,Human Rights Department is already collecting data to ensure compliance with international treaties, so it can serve as the central data hub.
This framework is a key step in strengthening protection mechanisms for women, adolescent girls & Woman as marginalized communities.
