Police investigation plays a important role in the Criminal Justice System. A single misstep by an investigator can undermine the entire justice process. Recognizing this, the superior judiciary of Pakistan has consistently emphasized the need to enhance the quality of police investigations.
To address this need, the Training Branch of Sindh Police launched the "Certification of Investigation Officers of Sindh Police with the Use of Modern Technology."
This three-week certification program aims to equip investigating officers with modern techniques, foster professional acumen, instill technological proficiency, and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
On March 14, 2025, DIGP Training Sindh, Mr. Faizullah Korejo, and DSP/Training Directorate, Mr. Muhammad Junaid conducted interviews for the program at PTC Shahdadpur, joined via Zoom by SSP Zahida Parveen.
The guest of honor, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson, Sindh Human Rights Commission, commended the DIGP Training Sindh for this initiative, recognizing its role in strengthening the Criminal Justice System.
This training program is being conducted in collaboration with the Sindh Judicial Academy.
