Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relations Officer, Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC), highlighted the Commission’s dedicated efforts in supporting the transgender community—assisting them in obtaining their National Identity Cards and addressing other critical issues.
Speaking at the Awareness Raising Session on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Women’s Rights, she emphasized that SHRC has full-time judges to resolve human rights violation cases and holds the authority to take suo-moto notices to ensure justice.
This impactful session was organized by the Women Development Department, Government of Sindh, in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Rights, GOP, FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Women Education & Training, and Sindh Regional Committee on Consumers & Public Services (FPCCI).
