The closing ceremony of the Comprehensive Training of Trainers on Gender-Based Violence Management Course was attended by Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairman of the Sindh Human Rights Commission. He delivered an impactful lecture on "Gender-Based Violence and the Role of Police", emphasizing the importance of a victim-centric approach, effective legal implementation, and capacity-building within law enforcement to tackle gender-based violence. Held at the Training Hall of the Training Directorate, Central Police Office (CPO), Karachi, the session was part of a Five-Day Training of Trainers from 10th to 14th March 2025, covering key courses on Combatting Trafficking in Persons, Gender-Based Violence Management, and Crime Scene Investigation. Mr. Detho also appreciated DIG Training Faizullah Korejo for his leadership in making the training a success. This initiative plays a crucial role in enhancing the capacity of law enforcement to address critical issues and protect victims of violence.
