Chairperson of Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho, attends the Oath-taking Ceremony of the Elected Members of the Sindh Children’s Parliament. Congratulates the newly elected Chief Minister and Cabinet.
The ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 17th, in the afternoon, at the Pakistan American Cultural Council, organized by the Thar Education Alliance.
During his address, Iqbal Ahmed Detho congratulated the elected members from across Sindh and, in observance of International Human Rights Day, distributed posters of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as Sindh Human Rights Commission diaries among the children.
Following this, the Chairperson delivered a detailed speech on children's rights, the right to education, the educational system in Sindh, challenges faced in children’s education, and the functions of the Children’s Parliament.
