Celebrating World Children’s Day 2024

Celebrating World Children’s Day 2024: "Listen to the Future In Pakistan, one in six children do not live to see their fifth birthday, often due to malnutrition and lack of access to clean water. With 30% of children underweight, over 50% stunted, and 9% emaciated, these statistics demand urgent attention to secure the future of our children.

The Sindh Human Rights Commission participated in the World Children’s Day 2024 Awareness Walk organized by the Social Welfare Department. This year’s theme, “Listen to the Future,” highlighted the challenges faced by children across Sindh and Pakistan.

The event was honored by the presence of the Chief Minister of Sindh, Mr. Murad Ali Shah, as Chief Guest, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to address these pressing issues.
