Chairperson (SHRC) atteneded the Sindh Net Launch Ceremony

Chairperson of Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho, attended the Sindh Net Launch Ceremony, organized with the joint cooperation of Civil Society Support Programme (CSSP), SPARC, DevCon - An Association for Rural Development, Management & Development Foundation - MDF, HANDS Pakistan, Strengthening Participatory Organization - SPO, and other NGOs. The event brought together leading representatives from various NGOs and civil society organizations working across Sindh.

During the event, Iqbal Ahmed Detho addressed a panel on the Strategic Priorities of Sindh Net's. He highlighted key topics including strengthening Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), tackling the challenges of climate change, and advancing sustainable livelihoods. He emphasized the importance of constitutional rights under Article 9 of the Constitution of Pakistan, discussing the need to align national laws with international standards.

Detho reassured all organizations of the Commission's full support in addressing the challenges posed by climate change and reaffirmed his commitment to working towards strengthening human rights and sustainable development in Sindh.
