Mr. Partab Shivani, CEO, Ms. Qurat Mudasar, Program Manager, and Ms. Prinka Ashok from the Thar Education Alliance visited to the Sindh Human Rights Commission office today. The delegation met with Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, and his team to discuss their inspiring project, “Children Parliament on Right to Education (RTE)”.
The Thar Education Alliance aims to empower 64 young advocates from across Sindh by selecting them for the Children Parliament. Through comprehensive training and exposure visits, these young leaders will be equipped to advocate for the Right to Education and inspire their peers. Chairperson SHRC recommended incorporating electoral School activities for selection and offered valuable insights on different laws on education to enhance the project’s impact.
