Chairperson (SHRC) visited the Women Police Station in Khairpur Mir's.

Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho, alongside his team and SSP Khairpur Mir's, Dr. Samiullah Soomro, conducted an inspection at the Women Police Station in Khairpur Mir's. This hands-on approach reflects a dedicated commitment to fostering safer and more dignified environments within law enforcement agencies.

A detailed presentation was provided about the women’s safety and people-friendly initiatives undertaken by the Women Police Station in Khairpur Mir's. They were shown all the facilities available at the station, including legal counseling and a helpline. The team interacted with the officers, appreciated the initiatives implemented by Khairpur Police, and suggested replicating this setup in other districts of Sindh.

The SHRC also visited various sections focused on child protection, anti-human trafficking, and gender-based violence. The commission offered to enhance the capacity of women police officials in dealing with cases of workplace harassment, community policing, and the protection of human rights.
