After successfully registering the first batch of marriage registrars under Sindh Hindus Marriage Act at Sukkur, Sindh Human Rights Commission move to Khairpur that is home to a sizeable population of Hindu community.
Sukhdev Assardas Hemnani Member (SHRC) conducted the follow-up meeting with district administration, govt. departments including local govt., minority affairs, social welfare, women development & Hindu community representatives as part of SHRC efforts to channelize the existing structure into ensuring implementation of the law. Marriage registration has a crucial role in attainment of marital & divorce rights that must be obtainable for the minority communities, especially the women, of Sindh without the hassle.
