Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho attended UNDP’s Key Stakeholders Consultation, aimed at engaging participants in the development of the UNDP’s Strategic Plan (2026-2029).
During the session, Mr. Detho applauded UNDP Pakistan for its initiative and highlighted the importance of strategies backed by action and implementation. He stressed the urgent need to address healthcare challenges in Sindh, calling for more District Health Units and Mobile Clinics to reach underserved communities.
Furthermore, he emphasized that collaboration among NGOs, Government Departments, and Civil Society is crucial for impactful change. He also underscored the importance of data-driven policies to ensure effective governance and sustainable development in Sindh.
