Chairperson (SHRC) Trains Dadu Police on Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act

Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho, provided training to police officers in Dadu on the Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act. This initiative comes in response to recent reports of child marriages in flood-affected areas of Dadu.

Recognizing the urgency of preventing child marriages, the Sindh Human Rights Commission has decided to enhance police understanding and enforcement of existing laws. During the training session, investigative officers received detailed briefings on various sections of the Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act that are crucial for preventing these practices.
