Chairperson Iqbal Ahmed Detho of the Sindh Human Rights Commission had a meeting with Abdul Waheed Shaikh, Secretary of the Training Management & Research Wing (TMR) at SGA&CD, Government of Sindh.

The focus of their meeting was to establish meaningful partnerships with professional training institutes to integrate human rights education into their programs.

The SHRC advocates for the inclusion of fundamental human rights principles, international human rights standards, national legal frameworks, and practical applications of human rights in their respective fields.

Key activities discussed included forming partnerships with training institutes, assessing needs, reviewing curricula, developing human rights modules, and providing training support. These initiatives aim to enhance human rights education and foster deeper understanding across sectors.
