Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho, attended the inauguration of the Training Directorate of the Sindh Police by Ghulam Nabi Memon, Inspector General of Police Sindh, on October 1, 2024, at the Central Police Office in Karachi.
The SHRC appreciates the efforts of the Sindh Police in establishing the Training Directorate, led by DIG Training Faizullah Korejo, which aims to mainstream the curriculum across all related subjects. The SHRC also greatly values the implementation of a centralized examination system, the development of the Training Management Unit, and the Instructor Development Unit. Through this initiative, instructors from relevant institutions will be selected and trained.
The Sindh Human Rights Commission, in collaboration with the Sindh Police, will conduct training for trainers on various subjects, including human rights, gender justice, and the rights of marginalized communities. Together, we are committed to fostering a more just and equitable society.
