Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson, Sindh Human Rights Commission, was a key speaker at the ‘Pakistan Project Planning Workshop on Building Resilient Supply Chains’. This significant two-day workshop, organized by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Pakistan (FES) and the ITF - International Transport Workers' Federation, brought together workers, experts and leaders to discuss strategies for strengthening supply chains across Pakistan.
Mr. Detho’s insights emphasized the critical intersection of human rights and supply chain resilience, underscoring the importance of protecting workers' rights while enhancing economic stability. He highlighted the SHRC role in “ Bussiness & Human Rights” arena in the context of complaint handling and right to remedy.
