This event was organized by the National Advocacy For Rights of Innocent-NARI Foundation Sukkur in collaboration with the Sindh Human Rights Commission and the AWAZ Foundation Pakistan, and it took place at the SHRC Regional Office Sukkur.
Iqbal Ahmed Detho Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, passionately emphasized the importance of empowering women workers and ensuring safe, harassment-free workplaces. He highlighted the impact of the 18th Amendment in empowering Sindh to enact legislation such as the Sindh Women Agriculture Workers Act and the Home-Based Workers Act, which prioritize labor rights and social justice. "Let’s unite to create inclusive environments where women can thrive and contribute to Sindh's progress," he urged.
