Under the supervision of IG Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon, a briefing session was conducted at Sindh Police Women and Children Protection Centers regarding reforms.
The session was attended by Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho, DIGs from Establishment, Headquarters, Investigations, Training, Sindh Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, Deputy Prosecutor General Fahim Hussain, Deputy Secretary Interior Department Fatima Saima Ahmed, social activist Advocate Rubina Brohi, Principal Police Training College Razzaq Abad, Superintendent Engineer Sindh Police Works, AIGs Estate Management, Administration, GC&HR, and other police officers.
A detailed briefing was given by AIG GC&HR regarding the establishment of 40 protection centers for women and children under Sindh Police across the province.
The Sindh Human Rights Commission is pushing for the establishment of Women and Children Police Stations (WCPCS) throughout Sindh to ensure dedicated support and protection for vulnerable groups. These stations aim to provide a safe and specialized assistance to women and children facing various challenges.
