The Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho recently met with Mehboob Ali, Area Program Manager and Riaz Magsi, Program officer of Islamic Relief Pakistan. Their discussion covered vital topics such as raising community awareness, advocating for government policies on child rights, addressing child marriage, empowering parents and adolescents, involving religious leaders in advocacy, supporting local government initiatives, enhancing district-level child protection services, and aiding women protection officers. The Chairperson also shared the SHRC Training Manual for Local Government officials and other relevant stakeholders on the Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act 2013 & Sindh Hindus Marriage (Amendment) Act, 2018.
