Chairperson SHRC, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, had a meeting with Mr. Jalaluddin Mahar, Secretary of the Sports and Youth Department, G.O.S and partner CSO working on Youth Rights-CSSP led by Mr. Noor Bajeer.
The discussion was centered on implementation of Sindh Youth Policy 2018 advancing various aspects of youth development, covering social, political, and economic dimensions. SHRC explored crucial initiatives aimed at creating opportunities and empowering younger generation of Sindh.
One significant in long term development of Human Rights Education to involve universities in the process of formulating implementation guidelines for the Student Union Act of 2019. This move is crucial as it aims to ensure that the perspectives and needs of our youth are thoroughly considered and integrated into the framework.
SHRC highlighted the importance of the Sindh Youth Policy, emphasizing that it ensures the youth will have the necessary skills and opportunities to define the future for themselves, their province, and country by linking with technical & Vocational education through STEVTA and other skill development organizations.
