Mr. M. Suleman Ali Abro, Chief Executive of SAFWCO, along with Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Professor from Sindh Agricultural University, Tando Jam paid a visit to the Sindh Human Rights Commission office.
During their meeting with the esteemed Chairperson Iqbal Ahmed Detho, they delved into crucial discussions surrounding various human rights issues. In the meeting, the chairperson informed the guests about his recent visit to the Sindh Agricultural University Tando Jam, accompanied by his team. Additionally, he provided a concise summary of the initiatives undertaken by SHRC.
One of the key highlights of the meeting was the insightful dialogue on how SAFWCO is actively organizing rural and urban communities, empowering both men and women, to undertake sustainable development initiatives on a self-help basis. SAFWCO envisions sustainable communities achieving equitable economic, social, political, and cultural development through indigenous community organizations.
During the discussion, it was also shared that SAFWCO aims to enhance capacities within community organizations, setting an example as a developmental institution.
