Member Judicial-II (SHRC) and PRO participated in the book launch of Security, Health, Opportunities, and Support Resources

During the book launch, Mr. M. Aslam Shaikh, Judicial Member-II at Sindh Human Rights Commission highlighted the Commission's proactive measures in dealing with transgender issues. He underscored the prompt handling of complaints, resolution of problems like the unjust detention of transgender individuals, and discontinuation of the issuance of Computerized National Identity Cards, portraying SHRC as a symbol of justice.

Mr. Shaikh, and Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relations Officer at Sindh Human Rights Commission, participated in the book launch of "Security, Health, Opportunities, and Support Resources" This engaging event was hosted by Women Empowerment Spaces (WES), and supported by Sub Rang Society and Hamraz, shedding light on crucial discussions surrounding the state, women, and transgender individuals.

The event not only showcased the power of dialogue but also highlighted the collective efforts of the state, civil society, and social workers in driving positive transformation within society.
