Chairperson (SHRC) attended Provincial Workshop for UNICEF Gender Strategy

Chairperson, Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho delivered impactful insights at the UNICEF's ‘Provincial Workshop for UNICEF Gender Strategy’, shedding light on critical aspects of child rights in Sindh. Stressing the urgent need for robust implementation strategies, he called for the harmonization of legal frameworks at both federal and provincial tiers.

Acknowledging the disproportionate impact of the 2022 floods on girls’ education, he called for the enforcement of Anti-Harassment laws to safeguard educational access.

Additionally, he emphasized the imperative of reviving Local Government for the effective execution of child and girls-related laws in the province.
