The distinguished delegation from the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) in Pakistan, led by Ms. Saadia Sabir, Program Manager, and Mr. Moiz Naeem, Program Assistant, paid a visit to Sindh Human Rights Commission regional office in Sukkur on January 6, 2024, holding a significant meeting with Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of the SHRC. This meeting marks a crucial step in fostering collaboration and advancing human rights initiatives, with a specific focus on promoting peace in Sindh.
During the discussions, Mr. Detho provided a brief insight into the commission's role in creating peace and upholding human rights. Mr. Deedar Mirani, CEO of Pahel Pakistan, contribute significantly to the conversation on achieving peace in the Sukkur region.
