Mr. M. Aslam Shaikh, Judicial Member-II, Sindh Human Rights Commission and Barrister Rida Tahir, Legal Consultant at SHRC participated in the meeting organized by the Aurat Foundation. In the meeting, the discussion centered around the ongoing progress in framing the Rules of Business for The Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act, 2013.

This meeting was a continuation of our collaborative efforts following the previous consultation on 29th November 2023. During the session, various issues were deliberated upon, building upon the insightful suggestions shared by Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson, SHRC, in the previous meeting.

We remain committed to this important cause and look forward to continued collaboration towards the effective implementation of The Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act, 2013, ensuring a better future for our children.
