Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, convened a meeting with parole and probation officers of the Home Department, Government of Sindh, representing districts Sukkur, Larkana, and Ghotki. The meeting, which took place at the SHRC Regional Office in Sukkur on November 13, 2023, included participation from the Legal Aid Society (LAS) and the Pakistan Legal United Society (PLUS) Team.

The primary focus of the discussion was on addressing critical issues within district jails, particularly concerning under trial prisoners in need of legal aid or potential release on parole. The Sindh Human Rights Commission remains steadfast in its dedication to upholding human rights standards, striving for a society where the rights of all individuals are honored. This initiative reflects SHRC's commitment to ensuring the prevalence of justice.
