District Police Khairpur organized a one-day capacity-building training session for Investigation Officers (IOs) on November 7, 2023, at the Shahid Hayat Conference Hall, SSP Office Khairpur.
This training session was organized to give insights into the implementation of “The Sindh Marriage Restraint Act 2013”.
Advocate Mohsin Sajjad Law Consultant at Sindh Human Rights Commission Sukkur Office, delivered a lecture on The Sindh Marriage Restraint Act 2013 under the guidance of Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho Chairperson of SHRC.
The primary goal of this initiative is to equip IOs with an in-depth understanding of critical human rights laws and rules, enabling them to enhance their legal acumen and ensure fair and consistent investigations.
The training also included lectures on "General lacunas in Investigation" delivered by DSP Legal, Khairpur, and "Gender-based Violence" conducted by Women Action Forum, further enriching the knowledge and skills of the participants.
