Muhammad Aslam Shaikh, Member Judicial-II, of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, attended a thought-provoking session on "Promoting shared Knowledge for continued actions to support gender Justice and equality" organized by the Aurat Foundation.

The aim of this session was to raise awareness among women about economic empowerment and the pivotal roles they play in domestic labor, childcare, and elderly care, with their needs to meet the domestic requirements and contribute their share with family male members.

One of the key highlights of the session was to encourage the women to actively participate in elections, both in reserved and general seats. This involvement allows them to build their leadership and contribute to national policies and lawmaking.

The session emphasized the importance of women stepping forward to serve the nation, empowering each other, and enhancing their livelihoods, thus contributing to eradicating poverty.
