Mr. Muhammad Aslam Shaikh, Member Judicial-II of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, conducted a meeting with the Pakistan Legal United Society & Legal Aid Office (Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners). The primary objective of the meeting was to strengthen legal support and advocacy efforts for inmates in jails located in Hyderabad and MirpurKhas as well as other districts of Sindh.
The legal teams discussed collaborative strategies to provide essential legal support to inmates. This included considerations for legal aid, representation, and advocacy efforts.
The meeting reaffirmed Mr. Aslam Shaikh's and the SHRC's commitment to safeguarding the rights and legal well-being of inmates across Sindh.
