Under the guidance of Chairperson Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Mr. Mohsin Sajjad, the Law Consultant at the Regional office Sukkur of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, along with the dedicated team from the Pakistan Legal United Society (PLUS), conducted a significant visit to Dar-ul-Aman Sukkur on August 31, 2023.
While on their visit, the delegation interacted with survivors, attentively addressing their concerns. Mr. Wali Muhammad Qureshi, the Deputy Director of Dar-ul-Aman Sukkur, presented an overview of the facility's operations to the delegation. Additionally, the delegation inquired about the necessity of providing free legal aid and identified one inmate requiring legal assistance.
This initiative highlights the strong commitment of the Sindh Human Rights Commission to uphold justice and ensure its fair dispensation.
