Mr. Mohsin Sajjad, Law Consultant of Sindh Human Rights Commission Sukkur Office, under the direction of the Chairperson, Iqbal Ahmed Detho, along with the dedicated teams from Legal Aid Office (LAO) and Pakistan Legal United Society (PLUS), embarked on a significant visit to Central Prison-1 #Sukkur on August 23, 2023.
This visit aimed to assist marginalized segments of society who require legal assistance and representation in court. Team has conducted interviews of convicted and under-trial prisoners who urgently required legal representation the team identified 14 cases in dire need of legal support.
This effort underscores the commitment of Sindh Human Rights Commission to ensure justice prevails, even within prison walls.
