Chairperson (SHRC) conducted a follow-up meeting at the SHRC Office involving the teams from the LAS and PLUS.

Chairperson Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho of the Sindh Human Rights Commission conducted a follow-up meeting at the SHRC Office in Sukkur, involving the teams from the Legal Aid Society (LAS) and Pakistan Legal United Society (PLUS). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the progress of cases concerning impoverished and needy inmates referred by Commission from various prisons in Sukkur and Larkana Divisions.

In addition to reviewing the status of these cases, the Chairperson engaged in discussions with the LAS and PLUS teams regarding the improvement of the case-referral process and the management of case data. The aim was to enhance the delivery of legal aid services to needy inmates by establishing a more effective and efficient system.

Towards the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairperson emphasized the importance of providing prompt and expeditious legal aid services to individuals who are financially disadvantaged and in need.
