Chairperson (SHRC) Iqbal Ahmed Detho Welcomes National Commission Justice and Peace Leadership and Team

Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC), warmly welcomed the leadership and team of National Commission Justice and Peace including Father Asher Liaquat, the Regional Director, and Noman Peter, Acting Regional Coordinator, along with the dedicated team members from the National Commission for Justice and Peace (NCJP). The purpose was to have a meaningful discussion on the challenges faced by non-Muslim communities.

Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of SHRC, expressed his deep commitment towards addressing the concerns of non-Muslim communities, and extending a warm welcome to the NCJP delegation.

The meeting touched upon crucial topics, emphasizing the importance of fostering social harmony, upholding religious freedom, and ensuring justice for all.

Furthermore, they explored ways to address the unjust practice of land-grabbing incidents targeting non-Muslim communities. Together, the SHRC and NCJP strive for a fair and inclusive society.
