A delegation of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung from Pakistan and Bangladesh country offices visited Sindh Human Rights Commission. The Chairperson SHRC Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho welcomed the delegates and gave a comprehensive presentation on the mandate & modus operandi of the Commission on the protection of human rights.
Mr. Abdullah Dayo, Program Advisor of FES Pakistan apprised Commission members about the "Pakistan Labour Academy" and "Peoples' Inquiry into Public Debt" projects. He appreciated the support of SHRC for its support to these projects.
Mr. Iqbal Hossein of FES Bangladesh gave a briefing on the "Academy of Work" Bangladesh and admired the collaboration of SHRC and FES in the field of Labour Right. The meeting was also attended by Justice (R) Arshad Noor & Judge (R) M. Aslam Shaikh, Judicial Members of SHRC.
