A delegation led by Ms. Ayesha Raza, Chairperson of the National Commission on the Rights of Child - NCRC Pakistan and Mr. Pirbhu Lal Satyani, Member from Sindh, visited the Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC) for a fruitful meeting. During the discussion, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of SHRC, briefed the NCRC leadership on the Commission's progress, working procedures, and future activities.
Ms. Aisha Raza, Chairperson of NCRC, commended the remarkable work undertaken by SHRC under Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho's leadership. She expressed appreciation for the dedication shown by the SHRC in upholding human rights. Ms. Raza highlighted various areas where the NCRC and SHRC can collaboratively work in the future, emphasizing on their shared commitment to promoting and safeguarding human rights.
By sharing knowledge, expertise, and resources, both commissions seek to create a just society and ensure the well-being of future generations.
The Judicial Members-I Justice (R) Arshad Noor Khan and Judicial Member-II Justice (R) Aslam Sheikh and Committee Member Mr. Sukhdev Hemnani also attended the meeting and shared their views and insights.
