Sindh's first police facilitation center in Hyderabad
The Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, recently visited the Female Facilitation Center in Hyderabad to ensure that human rights are being upheld. During his inspection, Mr. Detho personally examined the facilities and was impressed by the wide range of services offered, including issuing Character Police Clearance certificates, registering foreigners, providing driving lessons, and aiding women who have experienced violence or harassment.
To further improve the center's operations, he recommended that the facilitation officers connect with various NGOs and other stakeholders for training on different Acts. Additionally, he facilitated their connection with the Legal Aid office to ensure effective coordination. The sustainability of the center in terms of its budget was also discussed.
Mr. Detho's unwavering commitment to upholding human rights and his tireless efforts to prevent human rights violations in Sindh are truly commendable.
