There is a need to link Health facilities of Jails with PPHI for better health services in Prisons and Correctional Facilities.
The Worthy Chairman along with the team members while inspecting Central Prison 2, Sukkur on 5th April, 2023 recommended the authorities for provision of medical services to the prisoners through PPHI.
Besides above, the Chairman SHRC also referred the cases of poor and needy prisoners to the legal aid service providers (i.e. LAS and PLUS) and also inspected the living conditions of the inmates and recommended numerous remedies for improvement of the living conditions of the inmates.
