The Provincial Steering Committee for Legal Aid and Assistance convened a meeting on March 29, 2023 at SHRC office which was chaired by Mr. Jawed Sibghatullah Mahar, Secretary Human Rights Department, and co-chaired by Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of Sindh Human Rights Commission. The meeting was attended by Ms. Anis Haroon, Member Sindh NCHR, and the representatives of the Women Development Department, Social Welfare, and Minority Affairs Department. During the deliberations, the committee resorted to the approach for the efficient and effective course of disbursement and utilization of funds to serve the purpose of legal aid to the poor and needy people.
