To Mark the 71st Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, PILER (Pakistan Institute of Labour Education & Research) organized a seminar on “Human Rights Commitments: Challenges and Way Forward” on 11th December, 2019 at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi.
The Chief Guest of the event was Honorable Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Speakers at the seminar included Mr. Veerji Kohli, Advisor to the CM on Human Rights, Ms. Anis Haroon. Ex-Member Sindh NCHR and Mr. Karamat Ali, Executive Director PILER.
Mr. Murtaza Wahab, Advisor to the CM on Law, Justice (R) Majida Razvi, Chairperson SHRC, Ms. Kulsoom Chandio Member SHRC, Mr. Aslam Shaikh, Judicial Member 11 SHRC and Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relation Officer, SHRC also participated in the Seminar.
The event was moderated by Mr. Zulifqar Shah, Member SHRC/Joint Director PILER.
