Ms. Fareeda Tahir, P.R.O, SHRC conducted meeting with Mr. Masood Ishrat, Registrar, Ms. Rehana Memon, Consultant and Mr. Shahid A. Hashmi, Consultant Legal, Provincial Mohtasib (Ombudsman) Sindh on 25th April, 2022 at their office.
Ms. Fareeda Tahir gave a brief overview of the Commission's mandate, powers, and functions, as well as accomplishments and future plans.
Mr. Masood Ishrat, Registrar, shared that Provincial Mohtasib (Ombudsman) Sindh is an independent institution, established by statute, to provide speedy relief to any citizen or legal resident of Pakistan, especially those residing in Sindh, who may have suffered from any 'maladministration' at the hands of any agency of the Government of Sindh.
Ms. Rehana Memon and Mr. Shahid A. Hashmi discussed some of the success stories of the Provincial Mohtasib (Ombudsman) Sindh.
