Mr. M. Aslam Shaikh, SHRC Judicial Member-II, and Mr. Sarfraz Ahmed, SHRC Superintendent Complaints, visited Indus Hospital, Korangi, Karachi, on February 3, 2022, and met with Dr. Ashar Alam, Medical Director, Indus Hospital Karachi to discuss basic health issues. According to Mr. M. Aslam Shaikh, health is a fundamental human right that must be addressed. Dr. Ashar told the Commission that the Sindh Government should focus on emergency wards in order to save as many lives as possible. On that point, Judicial Member-II of the SHRC agreed.
The Sindh Human Rights Commission's Annual Report for 2020 was presented to Dr. Ashar Alam by Mr. M. Aslam Shaikh.
