Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relation Officer, SHRC attended the launching ceremony of “Political Economy Analysis report on Child Marriage in Sindh” by Population Council on 6th December, 2021 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.
The speakers included SZABIST president and ex-MNA Shahnaz Wazir Ali, Sindh Population Welfare Secretary Rehan Iqbal Baloch, Bayramgul Garabayeva, focal person, Sindh office, UNFPA in Pakistan, Dr Haleema Yasmin of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Dr Talib Lashari, technical adviser, FP 2030-CIP cell, Sindh, and Saifullah Abro, Director General of the Sindh Social Welfare Department.
The report was presented by Ms. Sarah Zaman, independent consultant.
