Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relation Officer, SHRC conducted meeting with Mr. Jawed Sibghatullah Mahar, Secretary Human Rights Department, Government of Sindh, Karachi on 6th September, 2021 in his office.
Ms. Tahir shared the powers and functions along with the mandate of the Commission. She further said that the law also equips the Commission with the powers to contribute positively to the human rights environment by reviewing laws and policies from human rights perspective.
