Legal Aid Society under the project titled Child Early Forced Marriage - CEFM conducted conversation circle and development of community engagement plan for the sessions with nikkahkhawans and administrative gatekeepers related to child marriages on 16th July, 2021 at Pakistan Society for Training and Development-PSTD Karachi.
Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relation Officer, SHRC attended the Conversation Circle and shared Commission’s input in the session. The main purpose of the Conversation circle was the development of the community engagement plan on the health and social consequences of child marriages and legal obligations and protections and also to increase legal awareness and enhance the quality of legal services in Sindh.
