The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry conducted zoom meeting on “Women Economic Reforms” on 16th June, 2021.
Justice (R) Majida Razvi, Chairperson SHRC gave her valuable input regarding the laws passed by the Sindh Assembly and issues pertaining to the implementation level. She added that unfortunately there is a lack of awareness in the masses about the laws and their implementation. She further said that consumer courts are a good initiative of the Government in this way burden of the other courts will decrease. She also said that as more than 50% of the consumers are women there is a need for awareness among them about consumers courts where neither lawyers are needed nor any expense to be incurred.
The meeting was attended by Justice (R) Majida Razvi, Chairperson SHRC, Tehmina Azim, Iqbal Uddin Khan, Mahwash syed, Ayman Taj and Syma Ghayaz.
