Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (SPARC) had organized one day training session on Child related laws on 10th November, 2020.
According to the research, children comprise 47% of Pakistan’s population. They are our present and future. To further strengthen the support for this generation, SPARC had conducted pro-youth sensitization training for government line departments and law enforcement agencies on existing laws in Pakistan.
Mr. Veerji Kohli, Special Assistant on Human Rights to Chief Minister Sindh was the Chief Guest of the training. Speakers included Mr. Faizullah Korejo, Additional Director Cyber Crime Wing, Federal Investigation Agency, Mr. Rana Asif Habib, Child Rights Expert, Mr. Muhammad Tariq Mughal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Criminologist, PMTL, UNPM & Bar Head of School of Finance & IT & Head of Investigation PTC, Saeedabad, Karachi, and Mr. Kashif Bajeer, Coordinator Child Rights Movement Sindh.
Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relation Officer and Ms. Beenish Khan, Assistant, Sindh Human Rights Commission attended the training and gave their input in the session.
