The Chairperson Justice (R) Majida Razvi, Sindh Human Rights commission (SHRC) attended a meeting at IG office Karachi which was chaired by IGP Sindh Dr. Kaleem Imam and attended Mr. Iqbal Detho. Mr. Karamat PILER. Ms. Anis Haroon, Chairperson, National Commission for Human Rights, Ms. Nuzhat Shirin, Chairperson, Sindh Commission on the Status of Women, Govt. of Sindh. Mr. Abdul Khalique Shaikh, PSP, DGP Headquarters, Sindh. Mr. Zulfiqar Larik, PSP, DISP Finance, Sindh. Mr. Nasir Aftab, PSP, DIGP Operations, Sindh. Mr. Munir Ahmed Shaikh, PSP DIGP SRP and other representatives from Government Departments, Civil Society and Police Department. The meeting was aimed at developing an effective liaison between the Police and other departments dealing with Human Rights. The Inspector General of Police also shared a plan of action of the Police for dealing with the HR violations cases which included opening of HR cell at IGP office which would be connected with all the District Police Offices to combat HR violations in Sindh.
