Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relation Officer, Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC) conducted meeting with Mr. Asghar Memon, Special Secretary Health, Government of Sindh on 23rd September, 2019 at Health Department. Ms. Shabnum Karim, Chief Technical Advisors and Mr. Faiz Ali Mangi Senior Technical Advisor of Health Department also participated in the meeting. Meeting aimed to give orientation of the Sindh Human Rights Commission and to discuss “The Sindh Health Care Commission Act, 2013 along with the status of the Women Medico Legal Officers. It was also discussed that extraneous factors severely impede health efforts, including poverty, gender inequality, unsafe water and lack of sanitation.
