Mr. Atif Abbas, Project Coordinator at RASTI, shared their ongoing project activities, emphasizing their commitment to children's rights. He highlighted their plan to hold meetings with relevant departments and the children themselves to further their cause.

Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of SHRC, elaborated on the distinct roles of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, Sindh Child Protection Authority, and Sindh Commission on the Status of Women.

He noted that Sindh is the only province with a dedicated Human Rights Policy that also focuses on children. However, he also pointed out Sindh's lack of a legal aid policy. Additionally, he shared SHRC’s recommendations to the Education Minister for establishing a book bank for children and discussed concerns regarding the unlawful PPC 374.

Judicial Members Mr. Arshad Noor and Mr. Aslam Shaikh also contributed their insights in the meeting. Mr. Sarfaraz Jamali, Superintendent of Complaints & Inquiries at SHRC provided an insightful presentation to the delegation.
