Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, shared his valuable remarks during the significant event, which was jointly conducted by the Ministry of Human Rights and UNDP Pakistan.
Mr. Detho addressed critical issues at the intersection of Business and Human Rights, with a strong focus on gender mainstreaming and Human Rights Due Diligence. He also highlighted essential topics such as labour standards, forced and bonded labour, and child labour.
His insights underscored the need for comprehensive measures to ensure fair and ethical business practices that respect and promote human rights for all, especially the most vulnerable.
