The Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC) and Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO) Pakistan collaborated to host a Two-day specialized Course on the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act 2018. The aim was to enhance fairness and justice in Sindh's legal system. The advocacy sessions on combatting trafficking in persons and bonded labor were attended by 400 investigation officers, station house officers, and legal officers of Sindh police.

Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of SHRC, provided expertise on evidence collection and case file preparation, guiding participants through the meticulous process and emphasizing thorough documentation. Barrister Rida Tahir, Consultant at the Sindh Human Rights Commission, conducted comprehensive training sessions on policies and laws concerning Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants. These sessions covered both global and local perspectives. She led an enlightening session focused on understanding the needs of trafficking victims, fostering interactive discussions and exploring strategies for providing comprehensive support services.

M. Shahid Shafiq, District & Sessions Judge and Senior Faculty Member, Sindh Judicial Academy, conducted a comprehensive training session on investigative techniques, including practical applications in investigations and an overview of the PEACE Model. Emphasizing the importance of risk assessment, Judge Shafiq also presented real-life case examples to illustrate key concepts, engaging participants in group activities focused on analyzing risk assessment scenarios.
